Rainy Day


I saw this guy pacing in front of the building, I composed and shot. He never even asked me what I was doing. I think that's a first.


I grabbed this frame real quick as I walked out to my car. Shot with the manual 35mm f/1.4.


This is actually a really sad picture if you know the story. This area used to be wooded about three weeks ago, and was where many of Carbondale's homeless lived in little camps during the warmer months. Now the land is being cleared for apartments.
A pile of tents, stoves, and personal artifacts are all that is left to prove their existance.


I saw this same scene about two times yesterday. I don't know why people leave umbrellas outside.

The image of ruins from the homeless camps makes me really sad. Thanks for sharing it.
