Vernon Morris’s Riverton home on the Williamsville black top was blown off its foundation and the roof torn off during the thunderstorms that blew through central Illinois Saturday. Sherman firefighters were assisted by the Williamsville fire department to secure the area until it was declared safe to re-enter. Morris, 59, has lived on the property for over 15 years.

I really like the new photo banner and theme Jason! The deer photo reminds me of the day we went deer hunting (ha) last spring. It hit me how much I'm going to miss you this spring when I popped into the DE for training week to talk to the photojournalists, and you weren't there.
