I just accepted a job at the Jacksonville Journal-Courier in Jacksonville, Ill.
I won the Illinois Associated Press photograph of the month award for the month of August.
I switched to Cannon out of convenience and purchased a 5D Mark II
I’ve been neglecting to post. I have not been able to find the time recently. Things have finally started to settle down and I’m getting back to the things that I really need to be working on.

OK, so several things:
1) Congrats, again, of course, on your new job!
2) If you don't finish your degree, I swear to God, I'll kick your ass.
3) Congrats, again, of course, on the IPA photo recognition!
4) Explain to me why that photo ran over the others, especially the one with triangulation between the father, son, and daughter.
5) I passed my comprehensive exams today and am now officially All But Doctor Wendy!
6) Are you still planning to get a dog? I think you should name it Rufus, regardless of whether it's male or female. Why? Because Rufus is a fucking awesome name, that's why.
