Over the holiday break I was asked by some friends of mine if I could watch over their two cats and a bearded dragon named Amelio. I wasn’t going anywhere over break because of work so it wasn’t much of an inconvenience to run over in the mornings tend to the kitties and surf the web on their computer (looking up prices on used 300mm lenses). Long story short they have a beautiful little place in Carbondale. It feels very homey with wood floors and neat molding around the doorways. It’s an older home and has that real great older classical feel. Their eye for vintage furniture and collectables further intensifies that yesteryear characteristic. The most striking thing about the home is the way it absolutely glows in the morning as the light fills in through the windows and bounces off those hard wood floors. Here’s a few photos I snapped while house sitting the place.
Awww, these are swell frames. And I love the way you describe our home. Whimsy is so stoic in photo, huh? And it's hard not to know Waldorf's a sweetheart from the image you made of her. One question: Where's the lizard? Doesn't Emilio get some blog love?
