I stayed in the office late last night trying to finish a paper for my Journalism writing course. I started falling asleep in front of my laptop and gave up. Jake Lockard had come back in to watch the press run since he shot and wrote the story for currents today. I decided to hang out for a minute and played with an old 35mm manual focus lens I’m growing attached to.
The press itself is pretty interesting and has a lot of history. The man behind he press is even more interesting and considers his craft near that of an art form. Jake and I have started working more with him to make our pictures look better in print.
