Messing around

It’s been awhile since I blogged. No real particular reason, it just has.

I’m in Springfield for the next six months. I’m interning at The State Journal-Register and it’s amazing. I absolutely love working here so far.

It’s amazing waking up everyday and knowing that I get to go make pictures for the same newspaper that I used to deliver back even before I could drive. I’m working next to T.J. Salsman, the man who introduced me to photojournalism.

I’m finally beginning to settle into my post and shoot closer to my capability. I’m really looking forward to six months of growth and development.

So stay tuned.

I really dig this picture, especially because I noticed the composition and waited for the moment. The white line through the middle...... That's what happens when the shutter on you Canon Mark IIN goes out.
